It's incredibly versatile! Our top recommendation is a Drop Shot (nose-hooked) for deep fish. For shallow water, rig it Weightless (No Sinker) to fish it as a topwater bug, or on a Neko Rig with a nail weight to make it stand up on the bottom.
Does the bait float or sink?
The material itself is High-Floating. If you use it without a weight (No Sinker), it will float on the surface. If you add a hook or weight (like a jig head or nail weight), it will sink slowly or stand up on the bottom, mimicking a feeding creature.
Can I use this for saltwater fishing?
Absolutely. The durability of the TPE material makes it excellent for inshore saltwater species that typically destroy soft plastics. Just rinse with fresh water after use.
Is the material different from regular soft plastics?
Yes! It is made of TPE (Elastomer), which makes it stretchy and high-floating. WARNING: Do not store the OrbWeaver in the same box as standard PVC soft plastics, as they will react chemically and melt. Store them in their original clam-shell packaging or a separate TPE-safe
